Hi! I’m Sarah and I’m a freelance writer based in Leicestershire. 

I’ve worked in the publishing industry for many years, in both online and editorial roles, building a varied portfolio of skills and experience – including everything from two hugely successful magazine redesigns to dressing up as Pudsey Bear while attempting to make the biggest greetings card in the world (unsuccessful, unfortunately – we were robbed! – but that’s another story…).

In 2016, a shift in lifestyle beckoned and I decided to pursue a career in freelance writing.

I'm obsessed with print and have a real passion for feature writing. I've written for a range of magazine and newspaper titles including The Telegraph, Tesco Magazine, Mollie Makes, Baby Magazine, Planet Mindful, Simply Vegan, Perfect Wedding, In The Moment, Harry & Meghan: Royal Wedding Preview, Simply Sewing and Wedding Ideas, enjoying the challenge of adapting my tone to speak to different audiences. 

I have also been producing digital content for over 17 years, for market-leading websites including The Independent, MadeForMums.com, Original Travel, Family Traveller and Culture Trip, covering everything from the best places to birdwatch in England to the joys of teething, so know exactly how to produce short, snappy copy that really works online.

As an experienced copywriter, I’m passionate about helping businesses define their brand voice. I’ve worked with clients in the travel, parenting and wedding industry to write engaging copy and well-researched blog posts to take their business to the next level.
